Distribution and Habitat

Caiguna to Toolinna Cove, growing in sandy soil pockets on coastal and near coastal limestone outcrops. The subspecies does not require summer fire to flower.

Description

A geographically restricted subspecies 100–250 mm high with a smooth, sometimes wavy margined leaf 15–40 mm long by 7–10 mm wide and up to seven white, dull green and red flowers 9–14 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the subsp. undulatus by its often smooth margined, rather than always wavy margined leaf and in having up to seven flowers. From the subsp. multiflorus it is distinguished by its sometimes wavy margined, rather than always smooth margined leaf, fewer flowered inflorescence and easterly distribution.
