Distribution and Habitat

Manjimup to Albany, growing in shallow soil pockets on exposed granite outcrops. The species does not require summer fire to flower.

Description

An attractive species 50–200 mm high with a smooth margined leaf 5–15 mm long by 3–8 mm wide and up to 10 white, dull green and red flowers 8–12 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the closely related White Bunny Orchid (Eriochilus dilatatus) by its fleshier leaves and scapes, more colourful flowers and granite outcrop habitat.
