Distribution and Habitat
Kimberley region, Prince Regent River, growing in a deep ravine under a canopy of Myristica trees. Also found in the Northern Territory and Queensland.

Description
An unusual species 200–450 mm high with five to eight thin-textured, broadly elliptic leaves 30–60 mm long by 30–35 mm across in a loose rosette on the lower half of the stem, becoming sheathing along the stem. The inflorescence is erect with up to 30 greenish-white flowers 10–13 mm across.
