Distribution and Habitat

Wooleen Station to Balladonia, growing in shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops. Also occurs in South Australia.

Description

An inland species 200–350 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 300–450 mm long by 3–8 mm wide and up to 50 greenish-yellow flowers 2–2.5 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from all other members of the Microtis media complex by its heart shaped labellum which lacks lobes.
