Distribution and Habitat

Wooleen Station to Balladonia, growing in shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops. The species is also found in South Australia.

Description

An inland species 200–350 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 300–450 mm long by 3–8 mm wide and up to 50 greenish-yellow flowers 2–2.5 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from all other members of the Microtis media complex by its heart shaped labellum which lacks lobes.
