Distribution and Habitat

Dunsborough to Two Peoples Bay, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests and woodlands and in seasonally damp swales between coastal dunes.

Description

A common coastal subspecies 100–400 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 250–600 mm long by 3–8 mm wide and up to 150 yellowish-green flowers 2.5–3 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the subsp. media by its shorter, pyramidal shaped inflorescence, thinner textured labellum margins and reduced apical labellum callus.
