Distribution and Habitat

West of Pemberton to Manypeaks (town), growing in peaty soils in seasonally wet flats. The species flowers only in the season following summer fire.

Description

A rare species 100–300 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 120–200 mm long by 3–5 mm wide and up to 25 green and white flowers 4.5–5 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from other Microtis species by its white flowers with spreading petals and sepals.
