Kalamunda to Roleystone, growing in lateritic soils in open forests.

Description

A recently named species 50–100 mm high with a broad, smooth leaf 10–20 mm long by 5–8 mm wide and one (rarely two) inverted, greenish-yellow and red flowers 6–9 mm across. The leaf is usually withered at the time of flowering.

Distinguishing Features

In the type location it grows with Brockman’s Duck Orchid (Paracaleana brockmanii) but begins flowering a few weeks earlier and has smaller flowers with calli confined to the apical half rather than third.
