Bindoon to Wellstead, growing in sandy soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands.

Description
A widespread species 70–110 mm high with a broad, smooth leaf 10–25 mm long by 5–8 mm wide and one (rarely two) inverted, greenish-yellow and red flowers 6–8 mm across.
