Distribution and Habitat

East of Southern Cross to Nerren Nerren Station, growing in sandy soils in open woodlands and shrublands.

Description

An inland species 60–250 mm high with a narrow, often laterally curved, smooth leaf 40–100 mm long by 5–8 mm wide and up to 10 inverted, small dull greenish-yellow and pale brownish-red flowers 4–5 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from all other WA Paracaleana species by its taller inflorescence, more numerous flowers and petals which bend backwards towards the ovary.
