Gibson to Israelite Bay, growing in deep sand in shrublands.

Description

A small flowered species 90–180 mm high with broad, smooth leaf 10–30 mm long by 3–5 mm wide and one (rarely two) inverted, greenish-yellow and red flowers 4–6 mm across. The leaf is usually withered at the time of flowering.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from Little Duck Orchid (Paracaleana disjuncta) with which it sometimes grows by its smaller flowers and shorter labellum with the calli confined to the tip.
