Distribution and Habitat

Shark Bay to Israelite bay, growing in sandy, sandy-clay, clay and lateritic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands. The species is particularly common in shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops. The species is also found in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

Description

A common species 50–250 mm high with a sparsely hairy leaf 30–100 mm long by 2–4 mm wide and one (rarely two) blue or, more rarely, white flowers 20–30 mm across.
