Description

Phoringopsis species have one or two long, semi-erect leaves and a multi-flowered raceme of insignificant inverted, dull-coloured flowers with a prominent insect-like labellum. The cryptic nature of the flowers means that it is often easier to locate plants by searching for the distinctive leaves which are often found growing in colonies as a result of vegetative reproduction.
