Distribution and Habitat
Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, growing in sandy and sandy-clay soils in forests and woodlands, flowering best in the season following summer fire.

Description
A sweetly-scented species 400–1200 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 300–1000 mm long by 7–10 mm wide and up to 50 bronze, green and pinkish-purple flowers 10–11 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the related Tall Leek Orchid (Prasophyllum elatum) by its generally more colourful flowers and broader, more prominently frilly margined labellum.
