Distribution and Habitat

Moora to Mount Barker, growing in sandy and sandy-clay soils in open woodlands. The species does not require a summer fire to flower.

Description

A small flowered species 200–400 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 150–300 mm long by 2–3 mm wide and up to 20 white, green and brown flowers 7–8 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the closely related Dainty Leek Orchid (Prasophyllum plumiforme) by its generally shorter flower scape and fewer, larger flowers.
