Description
A little-known species 250–450 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 250–400 mm long by 5–9 mm wide and up to 20 greenish-brown to purplish-brown flowers 7–9 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the related Tall Leek Orchid (Prasophyllum elatum) by its more crowded inflorescence and smaller self-pollinating flowers. Prasophyllum elatum is, however, extremely variable across its range and P. sp. ‘crowded’ may be a form of that species.
