Distribution and Habitat

Kellerberrin to Ravensthorpe, growing in sandy soils in shrublands, flowering best in the season following summer fire.

Description

A little known species 300–700 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 300–800 mm long by 7–10 mm wide and up to 50 dark brown to purplish-brown flowers 8–10 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is similar in morphology to Darling Scarp Leek Orchid (Prasophyllum cuneatum) and may be an inland form of that species.
