Distribution and Habitat
Albany to Busselton, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands, flowering best in the season following summer fire.

Description
A rare species 300–400 mm high with a smooth tubular leaf 250–350 mm long by 4–7 mm wide and up to 30 greenish-brown to purplish-brown flowers 8–10 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the related King Leek Orchid (Prasophyllum regium) by its shorter inflorescence and fewer, smaller flowers. It is also usually finished by the time that species starts flowering.
