Distribution and Habitat

Calingiri to Hopetoun, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A distinctive species 100–350 mm high with three to nine cauline leaves 14–40 mm long by 4–7 mm wide and up to 10 semi translucent, reddish-brown and white flowers 12–18 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the other members of the Pterostylis vittata complex by its prominently cupped lateral sepals.
