Distribution and Habitat

Perth to Busselton, growing in sandy soil in near coastal woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A late flowering, near coastal species 100–200 mm high with six to 10 leaves forming a ground-hugging basal rosette 30–40 mm across and up to 12 translucent, green and white or brown and white flowers 6–8 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from Painted Rufous Greenhood (Pterostylis picta) by its shorter stature, generally later flowering period and westerly distribution.
