Distribution and Habitat

Mt Lindesay to Northcliffe, growing in shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops.

Description

A narrow species 70–250 mm high with five to 10 leaves forming a ground-hugging or ascending basal rosette 10–30 mm across, three to four cauline leaves and one (rarely two) translucent, green and white flowers 4–5 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

Apart from habitat (granite outcrops vs swamps) there is little difference between this species and Small Rosette Snail Orchid (Pterostylis microphylla) and they may represent forms of the same species.
