Distribution and Habitat

Ongerup to Munglinup, growing in sandy-clay and clay soils in woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A geographically restricted species 100–250 mm high with seven to 12 leaves forming a ground-hugging basal rosette 40–55 mm across and up to five translucent, olive-green and white or brown and white flowers 9–11 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from Painted Rufous Greenhood (Pterostylis picta) by its larger, broader lateral sepals which have a more cupped appearance and smaller, less fleshy labellum.
