Distribution and Habitat

Augusta to Denbarker, growing in sandy-clay and clay soils in forests and woodlands above seasonally wet flats.

Description

A large flowered species 160–300 mm high with a loose, ascending rosette of leaves 14–40 mm across, two to four cauline leaves and one (rarely two) translucent, dark green and white flowers 15–18 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the other members of the Pterostylis barbata complex by its larger flowers with a more bloated appearance.
