Porongorup to Manjimup, growing in shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops.

Description

A short statured species 40–140 mm high with three to five leaves forming a ground-hugging or ascending basal rosette 15–35 mm across, two to four cauline leaves and one (rarely two) translucent, green and white flowers 4–8 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from Karri Snail orchid (Pterostylis karri) which often grows in the same area by its shorter stature, more bloated flowers and confinement to granite outcrops.
