Diemals Station to Norseman, growing in shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops.

Description

An inland species 50–200 mm high with five to 15 leaves forming a ground-hugging basal rosette 30–70 mm across and up to 10 translucent, reddish-brown and white flowers 6–8 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related Dainty Brown Rufous Greenhood (Pterostylis tryphera) by its thicker scape, larger flowers and forwardly curved rather than hanging sepals.
