Description

Pyrorchis species have a large, fleshy, smooth, ground hugging, heart-shaped basal leaf, one or two cauline leaves, a smooth flowering stem and up to eight pink or red, white marked flowers with a curved dorsal sepal, short, forward spreading petals and lateral sepals and a relatively narrow, downcurved labellum with upcurved margins and several rows of lamina calli.
