Distribution and Habitat

Augusta to Manypeaks (town), growing in seasonally wet flats. Plants flower most prolifically in the season following summer fire.

Description

A swamp loving species 200–500 mm high with a narrow, smooth leaf 80–200 mm long by 3–5 mm wide and up to 15 blue or pink, striped flowers 20–30 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from other members of the complex by its usually deeper blue colouration and later flowering period.
