Distribution and Habitat
Watheroo to Ongerup, growing in seasonally moist shrublands and open woodlands, often in sandy-clay soils near granite outcrops.

Description
An inland species 100–200 mm high with a narrow, smooth leaf 50–90 mm long by 3–5 mm wide at its widest point and up to two pink, mauve or purple blotched flowers 30–50 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the related Curly-locks (Thelymitra spiralis) by its slightly smaller, usually mauve or purple blotched flowers.
