Distribution and Habitat

Kendenup to Ravensthorpe with a disjunct population south of Hyden, growing in sandy-clay soil amongst low shrubs and sedges.

Description

A rare species 150–300 mm high with a narrow, smooth leaf 50–70 mm long by 3–4 mm wide and up to ten lemon-yellow flowers 14–18 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the other members of the Thelymitra flexuosa complex by its purplish-brown capped column central lobe.
