Distribution and Habitat

Kalbarri to Augusta and eastwards to Israelite Bay, growing in swampy flats, shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops and along drainage lines.

Description

A usually self-pollinating species 100–300 mm high with a narrow, smooth leaf 100–150 mm long by 4–8 mm wide and up to six blue, mauve or white flowers 15–20 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the other members of the Thelymitra macrophylla complex by its small self-pollinating flowers and prominently cleft column central lobe.
