Antennoseius (Antennoseius) Thor

Diagnostic characters:

Ecology & Distribution.  About 40 species of Antennoseius are known from soil and litter habitats (especially from moist soils), mammal nests, and phoretic on ground beetles.  Most belong to the subgenus Antennoseius, but at least 2 or the 10 known species of the subgenus Vitzthumia produce a phoretic morph with generally smooth cuticle and have a free-living morph with highly ornate cuticle.  The few species that have been studied feed on nematodes, mites and small insects.
