Notes
Perennial forb to 1m tall. Leaves mainly basal, some alternating along the stems, with a sheath at the base, to 100cm long, 4-20mm wide, flat, hairless, edges curved or rolled downwards. Flowers blue to violet, with 6 ‘petals’, in open groups at the tops of the stems. Berries blue. Family Phormiaceae in NSW. Family Liliaceae in SA.
Differs from Dianella longifolia ssp. longifolia and Dianella porracea in that the anthers are brown to almost black, and the leaf edges are curved or rolled down.
