Shrub 1-2m tall.  Leaves alternating up the stems, composed of 2-4 pairs of flat leaflets, hairy, with edges flat to turned down.  Flowers yellow, with 5 petals.  Flowers in short racemes of 2-8 flowers.  Family was Caesalpiniaceae.

 Name without contractions is  Senna artemisioides ssp. x coriacea X Senna artemisioides ssp. x sturtii
