No common nameCode OPxxxxxx Small, elongate (almost vermiform), blind amphipods with short, slender antennules and antennae. Gnathopod 1 is larger than gnathopod 2. The pleopods are small and slender. Uropods 1 and 2 are short. Uropod 3 is somewhat longer, with the rami subequal in length and cylindrical. Bogidiellidae is a small family consisting of hypogean or interstitial species. The only recorded Australian species is Bogidomma australis , from Barrow Island (WA). References: Bradbury, J.
