Sand fleasCode OP039999 The antennules are longer than the antennae; the accessory flagellum of the antennules is small and 1-segmented. The three uropods are approximately equal in length. The inner and outer rami of the third uropod are approximately equal. Urosomites 2 and 3 (abdominal segments 5-6) are separate, not fused into a single segment (contrast Paracalliopiidae). An unnamed species attributable to Paraleptamphopus has been reported from Tasmania, and two species of Pseudomoera are quite widespread in Victoria and NSW.
