a glandularium is a structure composed of a gland opening and a trigger hair. In Limnesiidae, there is a prominant glandularium on the coxal plate of leg III; in Hygrobatidae, of leg IV. In some hygrobatids the coxoglandularia migrate anteriorly, dragging the anterior margin of the coxal plate with them.
