The Torrenticolidae is a family of water mites in the superfamily Lebertioidea. It is represented in Australia by the genus Monatractides (previously Torrenticola) (2 spp., Qld, NSW).

Monatractides species are easily recognised by the distinctive combination of a large, oval posterior dorsal plate and four small anterior platelets.

Monatractides species occur in surficial habitats in streams.
