Code QH529999Long-legged, elongately-oval, predatory bugs associated with the edges and surfaces of fresh standing waters, sometimes with brackish waters. Generally found where there is overhanging vegetation or floating water plants. Adults always over 2mm long and usually over 4mm. Antennae longer than the head. Tarsi 3-segmented but the basal segment is minute. Pronotum and corium (when present) without any deep puncture marks.
