Code QH499999

Small semi-aquatic bugs not more than 3mm long, brown or yellowish-brown in colour, found in a variety of moist habitats. Fast runners. The antennae are 4-segmented with segments 3-4 bristly and longer than segments 1-2 (also seen in Dipsocoridae).

Ceratocombidae may be difficult to distinguish from Dipsocoridae. When winged the costal fracture is marginal. Most often the rostrum (labium) is long, reaching as far as the hind coxae.
