Code QT219999Moderately large Trichoptera. The larvae construct stout, tubular cases of coarse sand grains, and are predatory. The head is oval to elongate with antennae near the anterior margin. Pro- and mesonota are fully sclerotised. Prosternum sclerotised. Metanotum with 2-3 pairs of sclerites. Mid leg with tibia and tarsus fused. Abdominal segment 1 with dorsal and lateral humps. Gills present and branched. Lateral fringe present. Segment 8 with a row of bifid spicules. Dorsal sclerite present on segment 9. Anal claw with a single accessory hook.
