The immature stages are unknown.

Biology

Adults are attracted to decaying meat and are probably restricted to virgin tropical rainforests. Their biology is poorly understood (Kurahashi 1987).

Distribution

Chrysomya flavifrons is restricted to the rainforests of Queensland.
