The third-instar larva was described by Erzinçlioglu (1984) and Kitching and Voeten (1977).
Biology
This species has been reared from meat in the laboratory and pig carcasses in the field (A. McDowall, pers. comm.), as well as from human corpses in Brisbane.
Distribution
Calliphora
incisuralis is locally common in New South Wales and
Queensland, but uncommon in South Australia and Victoria.
