Blowfly Gender
The sex of flies belonging to the family Calliphoridae (blowflies) is mostly easy to distinguish by examing the head without having to refer to the terminalia. Males have enlarged eyes compared to females, which is generally manifested as a narrower space between the eyes of males than females.
