This genus was described by Khan and Sushil (1998), with the only included species, G. indica, reared from Chromatomyia horticola (Goureau) (Agromyzidae) in India. We have been unable to borrow any type material or other material for this genus, and we are not able to provide more morphological information than that provided by the authors, who considered this genus to be close to Stenomesius (Eulophinae).
