Type locality: Squeaky Creek at footbridge on track near car park, Wilsons Promontory, Victoria.
In small streams, springs and swamps, amongst moss, roots of water plants and similar substrates.
South-eastern Victoria.
This is the only keeled species found in south-eastern Victoria.
