Annual forb to 12cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.5-1.1cm long, to 1mm wide, flattened cylindrical, the upper surface often channelled along the mid-vein, hairless, often sticky with resin dots, tips blunt. Flower heads greenish, 0 petals, cup-shaped, borne singly at the ends of the stems. Rare South Australia. Rare Vic.
Differs from Elachanthus pusillus in that the stems and leaves are hairless.
