Mistletoe. Usually on Eremophila mitchellii (and Flindersia maculosa, which occurs outside the area covered by this key). Leaves opposite each other, 3-12cm long, 0.5-1.2mm diameter, narrow cylindrical, hairless, with pointed tips. Flowers solitary or in pairs (occasionally in 3s) on a common stalk arising from the bases of the leaves, tubular, with 6 lobes, red below, with yellow or green tips. Fruit red to brown when unripe, ripe colour unknown, oval.
