Hairy Forget-me-not

Annual forb, sprawling or occasionally to 15cm tall. Young stems fleshy. Leaves 1-4cm long, 1-3mm wide, linear to flat, sparsely hairy. The larger leaves with a broad sheath at the base, opposite each other forming a sparse basal rosette, the smaller leaves alternating along the stems. Flowers small (less than 3mm across), white, tubular, with 5 non-spreading lobes, solitary on short stalks at the bases of the leaves.

Differs from Plagiobothrys plurisepaleus in that the calyx has 5 lobes, loosely sheathing the fruiting bodies, the tips erect.
