缨翅目分类
世界上缨翅目大约包括780属6280种 (ThripsWiki 2020)，分为管尾亚目和钜尾亚目两个亚目，其中钜尾亚目包括8个科，管尾亚目只有管蓟马科。两个亚目和大部分科的单系性已经得到了分子数据的支持 (Buckman et al., 2013)。但是，Bhatti (1994, 2006) 将缨翅目分为两个独立的目和大约40个科。Mound (2013) 将不同的科级分类进行了总结。
缨翅目九个科中的两个科包括了其大部分种类。管蓟马科在全世界共有450属大约3600种，然而关于中国种类的了解仍然很薄弱 (Dang et al., 2014)。但是，蓟马科在全世界共有290属接近2200种，目前约30%在中国都有记录。正如该鉴定系统的主页中所显示的，目前认同的是蓟马科分为4个亚科，这4个亚科在中国都有记录。
