Distribution and Habitat

Merredin to Wongan Hills, growing in sandy-clay soils in woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A small pale flowered species 150–300 mm high with two to three smooth leaves 100–200 mm long by 4–8 mm wide and up to seven cream to pale yellow, brown marked flowers 15–25 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related Dainty Donkey Orchid (Diuris refracta) by its smaller, paler coloured flowers and more inland distribution.
