Biology: Puparia elliptical in shape, pale to yellow in color with a marginally flat wax secretion; dorsal wax secretions absent.

Distribution: Widespread.

Taxonomy [Quaintance & Baker, 1917: 434]: Margin with tooth-like corrugations; dorsal sculturing or rhachis absent.

Presence of 1 to five pairs of large submarginal discoidal pores

Vasiform orifice broadly chordate and smooth interiorly (without teeth); operculum nearly filling orifice.

Natural Enemies: See species list below..

Related genera: Similar to Dialeurodes in respect to the tracheal folds and the pores;  differs from all by the presence of 1 to five pairs of large submarginal discoidal pores.
